About Dalgairn Works
Dalgairn Works was created from a simple idea — to build meaningful, lasting pieces through modern craftsmanship and personal creativity.
Based in rural Perthshire, the name “Dalgairn” is drawn from the landscape itself, believed to mean “field of cairns” or “field of stones.” That connection to place, permanence, and craftsmanship sits at the heart of the business.
What began as an interest in laser engraving and precision making is growing into a journey focused on creating bespoke engraved pieces with character and purpose. From personalised items and commemorative work to crystal engraving, equestrian pieces, transport heritage, and custom commissions, every project is approached with care and attention to detail.
Dalgairn Works is built around the belief that engraving should feel personal — not mass-produced. Whether it is a memorial piece, a celebration of achievement, a custom design, or something created simply because it means something to the owner, the goal is always the same: to make objects people genuinely want to keep.
The business is still in its early stages, and that is part of the story. Alongside creating finished work, the journey of building the workshop, learning new techniques, and developing ideas will be openly shared over time. The aim is not simply to sell products, but to build a small independent workshop known for thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and meaningful pieces made properly.
At its core, Dalgairn Works combines traditional values of craftsmanship with modern laser technology to create work that is distinctive, precise, and personal.
